Unique Check-In Workflows with
Visitor Management System
August 2024
1. New Access Group Feature for Visitor Invitations
We are excited to introduce a new feature that enhances visitor management by allowing hosts to select specific access groups for their visitors. This feature provides greater control over which areas visitors can access, enhancing both security and convenience.

Key Features:
  • Access Group Selection:
Hosts can now select an Access Group when creating visitor invitations. This ensures visitors only access designated areas, enhancing security.
  • Customizable Access Points:
Administrators can configure access groups with specific access points, such as BLE-2, LPR, Smart DBS, and lift access, customizing visitor access to suit particular requirements.
  • Dynamic Access Management:
If access points are modified after an invitation is created, visitors will automatically gain access to newly assigned points. Deleting an access group will revoke all associated access, requiring a new invitation for the visitor.
These features provide a more secure and controlled visitor management experience, ensuring access is granted appropriately and efficiently.
2. New Setting to Enable/Disable Multiple In/Out for Visitors
We have introduced a new setting in the system that allows administrators to enable or disable the Multiple In/Out feature. This setting gives sites greater control over visitor access and is particularly useful for locations where visitors are allowed only one entry.

Key Features:
  • Toggle for Multiple In/Out:
A new setting has been added to the visitation rules settings page, allowing admins to toggle the Multiple In/Out feature on or off. By default, this setting is turned on.
  • One-Time Entry Restriction:
When the Multiple In/Out setting is disabled, the visitation method is automatically set to "One Time," preventing any changes. This ensures that visitors can only enter the building once, enhancing security and compliance with site-specific access policies.
  • Applicability:
This setting applies to both the web and app versions of the VMS, affecting the Invitation and Pre-registration forms.
This feature improves the flexibility and security of visitor access management by allowing administrators to customize visitor entry rules according to their specific requirements.
3. Edit Company Information via Admin Account
We are introducing a new feature that allows building administrators to edit company information directly through the admin account. This update provides greater flexibility and control over company details.

Key Features:
  • Edit Company Name and Logo:
Admins can now update both the company name and logo. This includes the ability to upload a new logo by hovering over the current logo, which will reveal a camera icon for uploading.
This enhancement simplifies managing company details, making it easier for administrators to keep information up-to-date.
